Solar mean magnetic field of the chromosphere

چکیده
The Solar Mean Magnetic Field (SMMF) is the mean value of line sight (LOS) component solar vector magnetic field averaged over visible hemisphere Sun. So far, studies on SMMF have mostly been confined to measurements at photosphere. In this study, we calculate and analyse using chromosphere, in conjunction with that photospheric measurements. For purpose, used full disk LOS magnetograms derived from spectropolarimetric observations carried out Fe I 630.15 nm Ca II 854.2 by Synoptic Optical Long term Investigations Sun (SOLIS)/Vector Spectromagnetograph (VSM) instrument during 2010 2017. It found study chromosphere weaker a factor 0.60 compared upper correlation analysis between them gives Pearson coefficient 0.80. similarity reduced intensity chromospheric respect corroborate idea it source Interplanetary (IMF).

The Non-magnetic Solar Chromosphere
We summarizerecent results from self-consistent non-LTE radiation hydrodynamicssimulations of the propagation of acoustic waves through the non-magnetic solar chromosphere. References to more detailed write-ups of the work are given. The simulations closely match the observed behaviour of Ca II H 2 V bright grains. Observations of CO-lines, that are problematicto explain in semi-empiricalone-co...
متن کاملDoes a Non-magnetic Solar Chromosphere Exist?
Enhanced chromospheric emission which corresponds to an outwardly increasing semiempirical temperature structure can be produced by wave motion without any increase in the mean gas temperture. Hence, the sun may not have a classical chromosphere in magnetic eld free internetwork regions. Other signiicant diierences between the properties of dynamic and static atmospheres should be considered wh...
متن کاملThe Influence of Magnetic Field on Oscillations in the Solar Chromosphere
Two sequences of solar images obtained by the Transition Region and Coronal Explorer in three UV passbands are studied using wavelet and Fourier analysis and compared to the photospheric magnetic flux measured by the Michelson Doppler Interferometer on the Solar Heliospheric Observatory to study wave behaviour in differing magnetic environments. Wavelet periods show deviations from the theoreti...
متن کاملModeling the Solar Chromosphere
Spectral diagnostic features formed in the solar chromosphere are few and difficult to interpret — they are neither formed in the optically thin regime nor in local thermodynamic equilibrium (LTE). To probe the state of the chromosphere, both from observations and theory, it is therefore necessary with modeling. I discuss both traditional semi-empirical modeling, numerical experiments illustrat...
متن کاملThe prolate solar chromosphere
We present a comparative analysis of the chromospheric solar limb prolateness, using strictly simultaneous Hα ground-based observations and HeII space-based observations. The typical prolateness is found to be ∆D/D = 5.5 × 10−3 in HeII and 1.2 × 10−3 in Hα. The first measurements in the 30.4 nm HeII line over a period of two years, as well as coronal data, are discussed to explore further the o...
